Contagion


Il film è incentrato sulla minaccia rappresentata da un contagio mortale simile alla pandemia influenzale del 2009 e su un team internazionale di medici assunti dal CDC per affrontare l'epidemia.
Dopo essere stata ad Hong Kong in viaggio d'affari, Beth Emhoff crolla a terra apparentemente per una banale influenza. Portata velocemente in ospedale, muore poco dopo il suo ricovero a causa di una malattia sconosciuta. La donna viene quindi indicata come la prima persona conosciuta ad aver contratto questa malattia.
Nella ricerca di una possibile cura il dottor. Ellis Cheever, capo del CDC, incarica la dottoressa Erin Mears di indagare sui primi casi di morti negli Stati Uniti. Contemporaneamente la dottoressa Leonora Orantes viene inviata in un villaggio cinese alla ricerca del paziente zero.

Sherlock Holmes - Gioco di ombre


Nel film Sherlock Holmes 2, una nuova acuta mente criminale, il Professor Moriarty, con una intelligenza pari a quella di Holmes e con una predisposizione al male ed una totale assenza di coscienza, potrebbe mettere in grande difficoltà il rinomato detective. Quando il Principe d'Austria viene trovato morto, tutte le prove raccolte dall'Ispettore Lestrade, indicano come causa della morte il suicidio. Eppure Sherlock Holmes deduce che il Principe è stato vittima di un omicidio, un omicidio che è soltanto il primo pezzo di un puzzle ben più grande e sinistro messo a punto dal Professor Moriarty.

Jude Law and director Guy Ritchie teamed up again in Paris yesterday. But before you get your hopes up for a new film, they’re not working on the next Sherlock Holmes flick; they were actually filming a commercial for French fashion brand Christian Dior.

Jude was spotted driving a vintage Mercedes around the city of lights and hanging out under the Eiffel Tower for the ad. Guy and Jude were also spotted chatting it up in between scenes.

But, don’t expect to see Jude taking in the sights of Paris this week. He took the train from his hometown of London for the shoot yesterday and was rumored to be hopping right back on the Eurostar as soon as they wrapped. Not only did Jude avoid airport security by taking the train, he also saved some money. A Eurostar ticket from London to Paris only costs £69 ($102). And, probably thanks to the smoothness of his travel, he was in such a good mood when he arrived at the Gare du Nord station in central Paris that he even stopped to sign autographs for several waiting fans.

Law has appeared in several Dior campaigns already, including TV spots for Dior Homme Sport and Dior Homme Intense. It looks like the Paris shoot is for a new Dior fragrance too, and travel-themed fashion always tickles our fancy.
